Every Neij piece is designed in-house and handcrafted using recycled precious metals and responsibly sourced materials. Guided by a commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship, longevity, and transparency, each piece is made to be worn and treasured for years to come. With the right care, your jewellery will continue to age beautifully over time.

SOLID GOLD

Our fine jewellery is handcrafted using recycled and responsibly sourced 9K, and 18K solid gold. Every piece is made to be worn, loved, and kept for years to come.

Because solid gold is a precious metal, gentle care will help maintain its finish and longevity.

Caring For Your Solid Gold Jewellery:

Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, rough surfaces, and abrasive materials.
Remove your jewellery before applying perfumes, skincare, hair products, or cleaning products.
Store your pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
To help prevent scratches and tangling, store each piece separately.
Clean gently using warm water, a soft-bristled brush, and mild soap.
After cleaning, dry thoroughly and polish softly with a jewellery cloth to restore shine.
Take extra care around gemstone settings and delicate chains, as they can catch on fabrics and fibres.
We recommend periodically checking clasps and settings for signs of wear over time.

RECYCLED 925 SILVER

Our sterling silver pieces are handcrafted using recycled and responsibly sourced 925 sterling silver. Designed to be worn daily and loved for years to come, each piece is made with longevity in mind.

Sterling silver naturally reacts to air, moisture, and skin oils over time, so regular care will help maintain its shine.

Caring For Your Sterling Silver Jewellery:

Remove your jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or washing dishes.
Avoid direct contact with perfumes, skincare, cosmetics, cleaning products, and other chemicals.
Take care around rough surfaces and delicate fabrics to help prevent scratches or catching.
Clean gently with cold water and pat dry using a soft 100% cotton cloth.
Some gemstones, including opals, are more delicate and should not be submerged in water.
Store each piece separately in an airtight container to help minimise tarnishing and scratching.
Chains should be stored flat or hanging to help prevent tangling or kinking.
Handle your jewellery with care, especially delicate chains, settings, and finer details.

Over time, sterling silver may naturally tarnish. A gentle polish with a silver polishing cloth will help restore its shine and keep your pieces looking beautiful for years to come.

Each gemstone and diamond is chosen for its natural character, depth, and individuality. We prioritise responsibly sourced stones and materials that align with our approach to thoughtful, lasting craftsmanship.

All gemstones require mindful care to help preserve their finish and brilliance over time.

Caring For Your Gemstone Jewellery:

Use a soft brush, lukewarm water, and gentle soap to carefully remove everyday build-up.
Keep your jewellery away from harsh cleaning products, perfumes, and sudden temperature changes.
We recommend removing gemstone pieces before exercise, swimming, or hands-on activities.
Some gemstones are more delicate than others and can be sensitive to impact, moisture, or heat.
When not being worn, keep your jewellery stored separately in a dry, protected space.
Avoid storing gemstone pieces together, as certain stones can scratch more easily than others.

A little extra care will help maintain the beauty and integrity of your pieces over time.

Where is your jewellery made?

Every piece is slowly handcrafted on Australia’s East Coast by our founder & designer Filippa.

What metal is your jewellery made of?

Our jewellery is made using recycled Australian solid gold & 925 sterling silver. For solid gold we offer 9 and 18 carat in yellow, white & rose gold.

Do you use lab-grown diamonds or natural gemstones?

We use both - always ethically sourced. If you have a preference, let us know. We’re happy to use lab-created stones or help you source a unique natural gemstone. Each product will state the gemstone in the description.

Can I swim and shower with my jewellery?

Our jewellery is made of solid precious metals, meaning they will last you a lifetime with proper love and care. You can swim in the ocean and shower in your jewellery, but make sure to rinse it in warm water and dry with a soft cloth afterwards to remove any salt or soap residue.

Never swim in pools or mineral spas with your jewellery on as chemicals can cause the metal to tarnish.

Do you offer warranty?

Yes, all Neij Jewellery pieces are covered by a 12-month manufacturing warranty. This includes craftsmanship or material defects — not accidental damage or general wear and tear. Read our full warranty guarantee here.

Are you a sustainable & ethical brand?

Always. We use recycled precious metals, ethically sourced or lab-created gemstones, and FSC-certified, biodegradable packaging. No shortcuts.

Where do you source your crystals & gemstones from?

All our crystals are ethically sourced from all over the world. We try to use Australian gemstones whenever possible.

How long does it take for my order to be sent?

Ready-to-ship pieces dispatch within 2 business days. Made-to-order and bespoke designs take 4–10 weeks depending on complexity. You’ll receive updates throughout.

Yes I do! I love to help bring your vision to life and craft the engagement ring of your dreams.

How does bespoke work?

You’ll work directly with Filippa, our founder and designer. From the first idea to the final polish, it’s a fully collaborative process. We’ll sketch, source, and refine until it’s perfect and in line with your vision.

RING SIZING

I want to buy a ring but don't know my ring size, what do I do?

You can order our free ring sizer here, or check out my size guide here.

Alternatively you can visit your local jeweller and ask them to size your finger.

I ordered the wrong ring size, do you offer resizing?

At this point in time we are not offering resizing on our rings. If you have ordered a ready to ship piece you can submit a return.

If you have ordered a made to order or a bespoke ring in the wrong size - get in touch and I will help guide you in the right direction to sort out a resize.

She created the most beautiful bespoke piece for me using stones that I personally sourced; my birthstone, my partner’s, and even our cat’s birthstone.
